Experimental Typography
2024
Ellensburg, Washington
“Analog Trash Type” is an innovative project that explores the fusion of typographic design and mixed media art. Through the utilization of found materials like discarded trash, cassette tape packaging, and plaster, this endeavor ventures into the realm of experimental typography. Each typographic collage is meticulously crafted, employing a diverse array of materials to achieve a distressed aesthetic. By repurposing these materials, the project challenges conventional notions of typography and offers a commentary on consumer culture and waste. Through this creative process, “Analog Trash Type” seeks to redefine the boundaries of design and provoke thought on the beauty found within the unconventional and overlooked.
